Stream for Mac

Browse your Stremio-compatible addons, find something to watch, and pick up where you left off.

Stream is a native Mac app with catalog browsing, search, a watchlist, resume playback, and audio/subtitle selection where supported. Right-click a Continue watching card to mark it watched, or right-click a saved title to remove it from your Watchlist.

The Mac beta is free. Optional tips will help cover Apple Developer membership and continued development. Everyone gets the same features.

You’ll need macOS 15 or newer, an Apple silicon or Intel Mac, and your own compatible addon configuration. Stream doesn’t include movies, TV streams, debrid access, or a subscription. It’s an independent app and isn’t affiliated with Stremio.

This Mac beta is unsigned and unnotarized. I plan to add signing once the Apple Developer membership is funded.

I also have iOS and tvOS versions ready. Once the membership is funded, I plan to submit them to Apple, but approval isn’t guaranteed. A tip supports development; it doesn’t guarantee an iOS or Apple TV release.

This is an early beta. Some sources and codecs still have rough edges. If the wrong audio track starts, you can choose another in the audio menu.

I’d appreciate feedback on installation, audio selection, seeking, and resume. Include your Mac model, macOS version, and app version when reporting a problem. Please leave out tokens and private addon URLs.

To use the app, download Stream-Mac-Candidate.zip. The library source and relinking downloads are for developers and aren’t needed to run Stream. License notices are included in the app.

The screenshots show a curated demo library. Stream’s application source is now on GitHub under the MIT license. You can read the code, build it yourself, or report a bug there. Third-party libraries keep their own licenses.
